Guinevere and I are creating a cruising guide for Southern California and Sea of Cortez boaters. Basically, places to go and things to do when you are cruising. In this cruising guide you will find some ideas of places you may want see with your own boat or on a charter trip. Its heavy on photos because that is what we like to do, but I’ll post other insight I have if it seems important.

We first started this project back in 2019, but it was shelved for a few years. Its now Sept 2024, as I write this, and we have a lot of photos and information from the last 5 years to get posted. Its going to take a while so please be patient as we keep adding info. When we began this project we had called it California Coastal Cruising, but decided to change it to Vela California because a lot of information about Baja and the Sea of Cortez is going to be posted.
