Call it photography buddy boating or a photography flotillas. I set some dates for photography trips that I want to make in Southern California and I’d love for some other boaters/photographers to join.

I’ll most likely be chartering a boat out of San Diego or Marina Del Rey, but I may take my trawler. If you want to go along and don’t have a boat contact me and I’ll try to get a crew put together on a charter boat if I don’t have room on the boat I’m taking.

This is not a guided photography charter. It is a boating trip with locations and schedules catering to taking photos & video. My specific photography goals for the trips may vary, but will always include getting some good shots and having a good adventure.

I’ll fly my drone when I can, shoot lots of landscapes and wildlife on the islands, and shoot underwater as much as possible. I’m a big fan of shooting time-lapse so if you want to join me for those shoreside excursions that would be great.

I’ll use some of my photos for my cruising guide and my stock photography sites with the intent of selling some work to local businesses. If you have a personal or professional brand that is a good fit for cross promotion let me know and we can partner up for content creation!
